Kim Capet Lough, age 61, of Morgantown, passed away Thursday (Dec. 19, 2013), at Mon General Hospital.
Kim was born in Fairmont on Nov. 23, 1952, a son of the late Herschel and Mary Louise Brooks Lough, Jr.
Kim worked in the coal mines for Consol. He enjoyed the outdoors, golfing and camping, but could also be found at the bowling alley, where he once bowled a 300. His greatest love came from spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Kim is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Throckmorton Lough; sons, Craig David Lough and wife Shawnda of Morgantown, and Steve Michael Lough and wife Shannon of Morgantown; brother, James Robert Lough and wife Carol of Morgantown; grandchildren, Nathan Matthew Lough, Sydney Renee Lough, Sarah Grace Lough and Lindsay Jordan Cook; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Kim’s memory to the Salvation Army, 1224 University Ave., Morgantown, WV 26505, The Gideons International, at P.O. Box 4286, Star City, WV 26504-4286, or a charity of your choice.
Friends may call at Christian & Missionary Alliance Church, 317 Elmhurt St., Morgantown, from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. today and from 10 to 11 a.m. on Monday, with the funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Beverly Hills Mausoleum.
