— Donald G. “Dino” Suplita, 78, of Dakota, died Dec. 4, 2013, in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Don was the son of late Andy Suplita and Mary Bartic Suplita of Dakota. He is survived by two sisters, Mary Lou Suplita Adams of Brunswick, Ohio. and Diane Lynn Suplita Sigley of LaGrange, Ohio. He is survived by two brothers, Andrew F. Suplita of Brunswick, Ohio, and Richard L. Suplita of White Hall.

Don graduated from Rivesville High School, where he was a member of the baseball and football teams. He was also an alumnus of Fairmont State College, graduating class of 1963. While enrolled at FSC, he was a member of the Tau Beta Iota fraternity.

He was an avid golfer, working many years at Furnance Creek Country Club in Death Valley, Calif. He was also a veteran of the U.S Army, serving in Alaska.
