She was very active in her church where she served as a Deaconess, a Sunday school teacher and sang in the choir. She was a member of the General Federation of Women’s Club, the Business and Professional Women’s Club of Fairmont and the Missionary Prayer Band.

She enjoyed reading and studying the Bible and was saved when she was 12 years old. She also loved going to her granddaughter’s café, The Firehouse Café, attending Sunday family dinners and she never missed any functions of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Marcella Yaremchuk of Fairmont; two grandchildren, Michelle Lee and her husband Greg of Pasadena, Md., and Monica Delbrook and her husband Mark of Fairmont; seven great-grandchildren, Amy Wills Yow, Danielle Wills, Andrew Wills, Ashleigh Lemasters, Trevlin Lee Delbrook, Lauren Delbrook and Marissa Delbrook; and a great-great-grandson, Braydon Yow.

Also surviving are two nieces, Billie Summers and Frances Linn; two nephews, Paul Linn and his wife Mary and Mark Ellis and his wife Beverly; two cousins, Mildred Hall and John Hess Jr.; as well as several great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul McCaulley during World War II and Harold McCaulley; a sister, Martha Ellis; and a son-in-law, Daniel Yaremchuk.

Family and friends may call at Gateway United Methodist Church, 301 Diamond St., Fairmont, from noon to 1 p.m. today. The funeral service will be held in the church at 1 p.m. today with the Rev. Andrew Tennant and the Rev. Jeff Mayfield officiating. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Fairmont.

  • Nuke-arms grade stock has been cut by Iran

Iran has converted three quarters of a nuclear stockpile that it could have turned quickly into weapons-grade uranium into less volatile forms and is well on the way toward transforming the rest, the U.N. atomic agency reported Thursday.
The development — agreed to by Iran under a nuclear deal it struck late last year with six world powers — leaves Tehran with substantially less of the 20-percent enriched uranium that it would need for a nuclear warhead.
