Betty Jane Graziani, 89, passed away Thursday (March 27, 2014) at Fairmont General Hospital.
She was born Feb. 17, 1925, in Fairmont, daughter of the late John and Sarah Spadafore.
Betty was a graduate of West Fairmont High School and Fairmont State College. She loved teaching in various Marion County schools over the years. She also enjoyed flower gardening and being a homemaker.
Betty is survived by her husband, Paul Graziani of Fairmont; three sons, Dr. P. Ronald Graziani and wife Cheryl of Fairmont, Donald J. Graziani and wife Rebecca of Fairmont, and Robert Graziani and wife Cheryl of Bentonville, Ark.; 10 grandchildren, Stephen Graziani, Dr. Caroline Graziani Labritz, Briena Graziani, Caitlin Graziani, Erin Graziani, Jessica Graziani, Alex Graziani, Ryan Graziani, Nicholas Graziani and Zachary Graziani. She is also survived by a sister, Mary Izzi of Marion, Ohio; numerous nieces and nephews; and her two wonderful caregivers, Pam Proctor and Holllis Cook.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Dr. Anthony Spadafore of Wheeling; and a sister, Helen Diamond of LaVale, Md.
Cremation has been chosen as Betty’s final disposition. Family and friends may call at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Ave. in Fairmont, from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the funeral home with Deacon David Lester officiating.
