Judith P. White, 73, of Fairview, passed away Tuesday (Nov. 13, 2012) at Fairmont General Hospital.
She was the daughter of the late Festus and Pearl Wolfe Satterfield.
Judith was a 1956 graduate of Rivesville High School. She began working at a very young age and worked her entire life. At the age of 40 she returned to school and became an LPN. She retired from the Wishing Well Nursing Home after 20-plus years of service. Mrs. White returned to work at St. Barbara’s Nursing Home in Monongah where she was currently employed.
Judy was a huge Mountaineer fan and attended all home games.
She is survived by her six children and their spouses, Robin and Robert Wright of Rivesville, Tommy Wells of Fairview, with whom she made her home, John Suplita of Fairmont, Mary Jo and Cliff Swiger of Fairview, Kimberly and Jason Antonk of Rivesville, and Diana and B.J. Campione of Morgantown; grandchildren, Jason Wells, Tanya Suplita, Kayla Suplita, Jimmy Miller, Brooke Wright and Austin Swiger; great-grandchildren, Destiny, A.J., Jalynn, Linley, Von, Dawson, Hunter and Izzabella; a sister, Betty Stevens; and a brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Barbara Satterfield.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters; her biological mother and stepfather, Beatrice and James Zanko; and two brothers.

The family will receive friends at Ford Funeral Home, DeGarmo Chapel, 207 Second St., Rivesville, from 6-9 p.m. today, from noon to 4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Friday, and from 10-11 a.m. Saturday. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 11 a.m. Saturday with Reverend Stanley Merrifield officiating. The committal service will follow in McCurdysville Cemetery in McCurdysville.
