Anna Belle Blaker, 86, of Fairmont, passed from this life Friday (Oct. 4, 2013) at the Genesis Center.
She was born in Mannington on Oct. 15, 1926, a daughter of the late William E. and Edra Dale Floyd Crouser.
Anna was a Christian by faith. She had worked at the Wishing Well Health Center as a nurse’s aide for more than 20 years. She enjoyed taking care of cats and birds, flower gardening, shopping and watching her soaps and Pirates.
Mrs. Blaker is survived by one sister and brother-in-law, Bonnie and Marvin Van Fosson of Mannington and her children Richard McClure of Fairmont, Doug and Debbie McClure of Mannington, Roger and Renee McClure of Mannington, and Sandra and Richard Malcolm of Fairmont; one sister-in-law, Jeanette Crouser; her two sons, Sammy and Matthew Crouser of Dent’s Run; and close friends and neighbors, Harry and Shirley Wendon.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, William “Bill” D. Crouser, and her sister, Helen Frazini.
Anna donated her body to the Human Gift Registry. There will be no services.
