Mary was a member of Charity Baptist Church and was baptized on Nov. 2, 2008. Mary lived most of her life in Dalhart, Texas, and was a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan. She moved back to her home state of West Virginia in 2006. Mary was a great cook and loved sharing her hot flavors of her Texas years. Crafts became a big part of her retired years, and making things to give to others brought her much joy. One of her biggest highlights was playing cards with all of her friends and taking the pile every chance she got.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Charity Baptist Church, P.O. Box 145, Wyatt, WV 26463. Family and friends will be received at the Dorsey Funeral Home, 701 S. Pike St., Shinnston, from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday with Pastor Dan Adkins officiating. Interment will follow in the Elizabeth Mason Memorial Cemetery.
