She moved back to her home state of West Virginia in 2006. Mary was a great cook and loved sharing her hot flavors of her Texas years. Crafts became a big part of her retired years, and making things to give to others brought her much joy. One of her biggest highlights was playing cards with all of her friends and taking the pile every chance she got.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Charity Baptist Church, P.O. Box 145, Wyatt, WV 26463. Family and friends will be received at the Dorsey Funeral Home, 701 S.
