Elizabeth B. “Betty” Yost, 73, of Little Indian Creek Road, Core, passed away Monday (Nov. 18, 2013) at Monongalia General Hospital.
She was born Dec. 29, 1939, in Fairmont, a daughter of Woodrow and Beulah Berry Lake of Arnettsville.
Betty was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who cared for her family. She had been a beautician in Rivesville for many years and attended Glen Oaks Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, Betty is survived by her husband of 54 years, Jack Yost; two sons, Kevin Yost and wife Diane of Morgantown and Mark Yost and wife Linda of Morgantown; one brother, Woody and Shirley Lake of The Villages, Fla.; three grandchildren, Kasey Yost, Lee Yost and Evan Yost; three step-grandchildren, Brett Petit, Dale Petit and Jason Miller; and eight great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Arnettsville United Methodist Church from 4-7 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. Friday until the 11 a.m. funeral service. Burial will follow at Arnettsville Cemetery.
