— Dinah Lee Martonosi, 68, of Mannington, passed away Sunday (Nov. 17, 2013) at Ruby Memorial Hospital.

She was born Feb. 19, 1945, in Mannington, a daughter of the late John Martonosi and Hazel Blount Martonosi.

She is survived by her son, Steven Martonosi and wife Kelly of Mannington; one grandson, Alex Martonosi of Mannington; special family members, Brain and Cindy Kuhn of Mannington; two special extended grandsons, Caleb and Hunter Kuhn of Mannington; and one sister, Charieta Goodnight and husband Bud of Romney.

Also surviving are nieces and nephews, Brian Blankenship, Tina Blankenship, Kelly Link, Kathy Day, Johnny Barth, Stephanie Goodnight, Buddy Goodnight, Lisa Goodnight, Roger Allan Efaw, Terry Ann Efaw and Susie Fluharty.

In addition to her parents, Dinah was preceded in death by three sisters, Gypsy Efaw, Helen Blankenship and Greta Barth.

Dinah was a graduate of Mannington High School in 1963. She was a member of the Mannington Church of Christ. She enjoyed spending precious time with her grandson, Alex. She also enjoyed sewing and working crossword puzzles. Dinah worked at Electronic Control Systems for 29 years, at GMR and MOEC for five years, and sold Avon for more than 48 years. Until her illness, she was an active member of the Caring and Sharing Support Group here in Mannington.

The family would like to thank the Arbors at Fairmont for their care, and additionally thank the 5th Floor MICU Staff at WVU Hospital, 8th Floor NE wing and all the staff and nurses. Also thanks to Dr. Yednoek, Dr. Aqueel and Dr. McElligot at WVU Hospital.

The family would like to also send special thanks for Cheryl Leasure, Janis Kiger, Beverly Brower, Janie Moore, Linda Gooden, Nancy McLaughlin and Phil Pritchard for helping the family and also her church family at the Mannington Church of Christ.

Family and friends may call at Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main St., Mannington, from 2-9 p.m. Thursday. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday in the funeral home with Evangelist Dr. Michael P. Reese officiating. Burial will follow at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Farmington.
