Carol Tetrick

Carol Lou Tetrick, 68, of Neosho, Mo., died Friday (Nov. 22, 2013), at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, Mo., following a sudden illness.

Carol was born Jan. 22, 1945, in Fairmont, and moved to the Neosho area five years ago from Fairmont.  

She worked on the assembly line of electronic manufacture and was a member of Abundant Life Assembly of God Church in Neosho, where she taught MPACT.  

Carol and Ronald Lee Tetrick were married on Oct. 24, 1969, in Worthington, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 9, 2011.  

She is survived by two daughters, Dianna Shupp and Terri Casto; a granddaughter, Casey Casto; two brothers, Clifford Paul Morgan of Fairmont and Christy Morgan of Ashtabula, Ohio; and numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.  

Services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Abundant Life Assembly of God Church in Neosho, Mo. Rev. Ken Robinson will officiate. Interment will be in the Gibson Cemetery, Neosho, Mo.

Friends may call at the Clark Funeral Home, Neosho, Mo., on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until 6:30 p.m., and the family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

  • Nuke-arms grade stock has been cut by Iran

    Iran has converted three quarters of a nuclear stockpile that it could have turned quickly into weapons-grade uranium into less volatile forms and is well on the way toward transforming the rest, the U.N. atomic agency reported Thursday.
    The development — agreed to by Iran under a nuclear deal it struck late last year with six world powers — leaves Tehran with substantially less of the 20-percent enriched uranium that it would need for a nuclear warhead.
