Nancy Kay (Jolliff) Burge, 65, of Slidell, La., formerly of Fairmont, passed away suddenly at her daughter’s residence in Slidell.
She was born Oct.16, 1947, in Littleton, the daughter of the late William and Betty (Pyles) Jolliff.
She is survived by a daughter, Amy (James) Thomas of Slidell, La.; a son, Brian (Shelly) Burge of Oklahoma City, Okla.; two grandchildren, Jacobe (Sadie) Thomas and Johnathan Thomas, all of Slidell; three brothers, Thomas, William and Jeffrey Jolliff; three sisters, Linda Oliver, Judy (Tony) Carter and Suzanne (Delmar) Walls; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and her beloved dog, Bella.
Nancy graduated from Hundred High School in 1965. She worked for more than 30 years at Westinghouse/Philips Electric and retired from Fairmont General Hospital on Oct 16, 2012. Nancy loved to travel and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
In her quiet and caring way, Nancy brought a smile to everyone she knew. She will be sadly missed. A gathering to celebrate the life of Nancy will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 29 at Westchester Village in Fairmont. Please come and share your memories with family and friends.
