Linda Jean Drennen, 65, of Fairmont, passed from this life Thursday (August 1, 2013) at Ruby Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
She was born in New Martinsville on Oct. 5, 1947, a daughter of the late Wilma Jean Ruble.
Linda was a Christian by faith. She said that her heritage was mostly Native American. She enjoyed watching old movies, embroidery work, reading, fishing with her husband when she was able and NASCAR, especially the Dale Earnharts and Jimmy Johnson.
She is survived by her husband of 20 years, John Dee Drennen.
She was also preceded in death by her grandmother, who adopted and raised her at an early age, Louise Ruble.
John and Linda chose cremation as her method of final disposition. There will be no services. Condolences may be sent to John at email@example.com.
