William Lee Stuck

— William Lee Stuck, 70, of Fairmont, went to be with the Lord Tuesday (Aug. 13, 2013). He died at his residence after an extensive illness.

He was born June 17, 1943, in Fairmont, a son of the late Elwood C. Stuck and Dorothy H. Strother.

He is survived by his wife, Lillian Sue Toth Stuck of Fairmont. They were married Sept. 21, 2001.

Mr. Stuck is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Adam and Brenda Stuck of Kingmont, and Jeffrey Todd Stuck of Texas; three brothers and three sisters-in-law, Jim and Diane Stuck of Fairmont, Richard and Jeanne Stuck of Fairmont, and Robert and Judy Stuck of Florida; three grandchildren, Nate, Sophie and Lilly Stuck; a stepson, Tommy Michael of Morgantown; a stepdaughter and her husband, Julie and Chad Areford of Morgantown; two step-grandchildren, Breanna and Chase Areford; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a step-grandchild, Alex Michael.

Mr. Stuck was a former life insurance agent for Monumental Life in Bridgeport and formerly owned and operated Sentry Window Co. He attended the Viola Church in Pricketts Fort Community.

Bill also served his country in the United States Army for three years. He last served in South Korea. Mr. Stuck enjoyed playing golf, fishing and coaching Little League Baseball. Although it was for a short period, Bill especially loved to be with his grandchildren.

At the request of the deceased, his body will be cremated, and the family will hold a private memorial service at a later time. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia St., Fairmont.
