George Junior Kincaid

George Junior Kincaid, 87 of Farmington, passed away Sunday (July 6, 2014) at Maplewood Assisted Living in Bridgeport. George was born in Arnettsville, Aug. 1, 1926, to the late George Washington Kincaid and Mary Jean Zimmerman Kincaid.

George was retired from Joy Manufacturing and also worked many years as a maintenance supervisor for Rochester Pittsburgh Coal Co. in Four States, and also was a consultant for EIMCO. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the United States Navy in the Pacific, where he was in the Seabee Construction Battalion in Okinawa.

Survivors include four children; Ina June Fullen and husband Daniel of Parrish Run, Farmington; Jack Leroy Kincaid and wife Lisa of Gainesville, Florida; Pamela Jo West and husband Joe of Grafton; and Mary Louise Tennant and husband Richard of Farmington; a brother, Harry Lee Kincaid of Fairmont; 14 grandchildren, Robin Anderson and husband Mark, Jane Harman and husband John, Danny Fullen and wife Lori, Mark Fullen and wife Jennifer, Jack Kincaid and wife Julie, Jennifer Butcher and husband John, Kennedy Joy Kincaid, Joe West III and wife Crysta, George West and wife Carissa, Susan Telesha and husband Mark, Tim West and wife Heather, Holly Osterland, Richard Tennant and wife Nicole, and Sally Tolka and husband Brian; and 37 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Wilma Louise Kincaid, George was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert, Walter and Wayne Kincaid, and four sisters, Mabel Owens, Margaret Shuman, Ella Shaffer and Gladys Copley.

The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home 414 Gaston Ave., Fairmont, from 1-8 p.m. Wednesday and from 10-11 a.m. Thursday. The funeral service will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Ray Crabtree and Pastor Pete Staud officiating. Burial will follow at the Parrish Run Cemetery. Full military rites will be conducted at graveside by the Marion County Military Veterans Council.
