Mindy Lou Weaver

Mindy Lou Weaver, 30, of Hart Street, Clarksburg, passed away Wednesday (June 26, 2013) as the result of an automobile accident.

She was born Dec. 24, 1982, in Fairmont, a daughter of Lisa J. Martin of Bridgeport, and William G. Weaver Jr. and his wife Jennie of Fairmont.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her companion, Chris Wolfe of Parkersburg; one daughter, Kaydance Naomi Wolfe at home; one brother, Josh Weaver and his wife Mandy of Fairmont and their children, Justin Slaughter of Ohio and Jordyn Weaver and Brittney Weaver, both of Fairmont; one stepbrother, Frankie Oliverio; one stepsister, Jamie Bock, both of Fairmont; her paternal grandmother, Darlene Koontz and her husband Terry of Bridgeport; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Richard H. Martin and Naomi “Skeeter” Murray Martin, and her paternal grandfather, William G. Weaver.

Mindy lived and loved life to the fullest. She adored her daughter Kaydance. She enjoyed singing and cooking.

Friends may call at the Perine Funeral Home, Route 19 South, Shinnston, from 2-8 p.m. Sunday, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday with Pastor Brian Lamb officiating. Interment will be in the Shinnston Masonic Cemetery.

  • Nuke-arms grade stock has been cut by Iran

    Iran has converted three quarters of a nuclear stockpile that it could have turned quickly into weapons-grade uranium into less volatile forms and is well on the way toward transforming the rest, the U.N. atomic agency reported Thursday.
    The development — agreed to by Iran under a nuclear deal it struck late last year with six world powers — leaves Tehran with substantially less of the 20-percent enriched uranium that it would need for a nuclear warhead.
