Lori Lynn Baehl Smith, 49, of Fairmont and formerly of Nashville, Tenn., died Friday (June 21, 2013).
She was born Feb. 21, 1964, in Fairmont, the daughter of Joseph F. Lomicka and Linda Palmer Lomicka of Fairmont. She is also survived by her loving pet cats, Simon and Sam.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bea and Sam Palmer, and great-grandmother, Georgia Snodgrass.
Lori was a former paralegal in the Nashville, Tenn., area. She was Methodist by faith and a graduate of St. Albans High School and West Virginia State College.
Lori enjoyed cooking, attending concerts and vacationing with family and friends at Deerfield Beach, Fla.

The family will receive friends at Ford Funeral Home, R.C. Jones Chapel, 1410 Country Club Road, Fairmont, from 4-8 p.m. today and from 10-11 a.m. Monday. The funeral service to celebrate Lori’s life will be held in the funeral home at 11 a.m. Monday with Pastor Jeff Mayfield officiating. The committal service will follow in Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
