Robert J. “Bob” Dunnington

Robert J. “Bob” Dunnington, 72, of Katy Road, died Thursday (Oct. 4, 2012) at his residence.

He was born Jan. 31, 1940, at Idamay, a son of the late Eva Dunnington Irmie.

He was an avid fan of West Virginia University and North Marion High School sports, and was a member of the White Rock Community Church. He was also proud of his heritage, which included being a descendent of Stonewall Jackson and Henry “Old Hundred” Church, the namesake of the town of Hundred.

  • Nuke-arms grade stock has been cut by Iran

Iran has converted three quarters of a nuclear stockpile that it could have turned quickly into weapons-grade uranium into less volatile forms and is well on the way toward transforming the rest, the U.N. atomic agency reported Thursday.
The development — agreed to by Iran under a nuclear deal it struck late last year with six world powers — leaves Tehran with substantially less of the 20-percent enriched uranium that it would need for a nuclear warhead.
