Jackie Wayne Shadrick, 70, of Gruetli-Laager, Tenn., passed away at his home on Wednesday (Dec. 5, 2012).
He was born in Palmer, Tenn., on April 1, 1942.
He had been employed by Consolidated Coal Co. in West Virginia and lived in Mannington for many years.
Jackie was preceded in death by his parents, Noah John Brown and Mildred Shadrick Parsons; his wife, Mary Six Shadrick; and daughter, Kelly Earl.
He is survived by his daughter, Sandra (Mike) Tate of Gruetli-Laager, Tenn.; son, Ray (Michelle) Shadrick of Mannington; grandchildren, Bobby (Kirsten) Ice, Damon (Judy) Tate, Miranda and Raven Tate, Ethan and Eric Earl, Devon and Nikkie Shadrick; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Masters Funeral Home in Mannington with the Rev. Gary Sloan officiating. Burial will follow at the Mannington Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday at the Layne Funeral Home in Palmer, Tenn., and 6-8 p.m. on Friday at Masters Funeral Home in Mannington.
