— Patricia A. Haugh, 85, died Friday (Jan. 3, 2014), at Tidelands Community Hospice House in Georgetown, S.C.

Born in Fairmont, she was the daughter of the late Chris and Irene Lolos. Mrs. Haugh was salutatorian of her high school graduating class at Fairmont Senior High School. She attended Fairmont State University, where she was a member of Gamma Chi Chi Sorority.

She was a member of Junior League of Fairmont, Ch. R P.E.O., Fairmont Field Club and First United Presbyterian Church of Fairmont, where she was active on many committees. She was an active member of Pawleys Island Presbyterian Church, where she served on the Service Committee, chair of the Food Pantry, Mix with Six Group and Angel Tree Committee. She volunteered as a tutor for Teach My People and Waccamaw schools.

Mrs. Haugh enjoyed tennis, walking on the beach and reading, and was an avid bridge player.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She was predeceased by a brother, Philip Lolos.

Survivors include her husband of over 65 years, Jack; sons, Jack A. Haugh Jr. and wife Nora of Medford, Okla., Barry C. Haugh and friend Brenda Hale of Atlanta, Ga., Michael P. Haugh and wife Tracy of Murrells Inlet, S.C., and Mark A. Haugh and fiancée Tracy Suggs of Conway, S.C.; daughters, Linda Haugh Sacchetti and husband Louis of Murrells Inlet, S.C., and Judith Haugh Groves and husband Gregory A. of Bridgeport; grandchildren, Richie, Lori, Chelsea, Patrick, Taylor, Matthew, Carter, Susan, Mikie, David, Gregory Jr. and John; five great-grandchildren; and sisters, Linda Eger and Angela McGovern.

A memorial service will be held Monday at 11:30 a.m. at Pawleys Island Presbyterian Church in Pawleys Island, S.C. with a reception following at the church fellowship hall. The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. today at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Litchfield/Pawleys Chapel.
