He enjoyed going to town and working on cars.

At the conclusion of the memorial service, a private family gathering will be held at Hopewell Cemetery in order to carry out Basil’s final wishes.

The family would like to thank the Hospice staff, Lisa Hines, Lonnie Newbraugh, Heather Loughery, Staci Minor and Marci Nigh, for all the care and help to Basil and his family. The world needs more loving and caring people.

The family would also like to take this time to express their greatest appreciation to Paul M. VanGilder for all the loving care he gave his father-in-law, our father, during his time of need. Thank you so much. We know it meant a lot to him.
