— Hazel Virginia Aberegg, 89, of Hundred, died Sunday (Feb. 3, 2013) in the Cameron Continuous Care Center.

She was born Jan. 16, 1924 at Hundred, a daughter of the late Eddie Lee Cumberledge and Essie Jane Butcher Cumberledge.

Mrs. Aberegg was a homemaker, a member of the Wetzel County Farm Bureau, and a member of Hundred Church of Christ.

Surviving are three sons and their spouses, Bill and Sheila Aberegg of New Martinsville, Bob and Bernadine Aberegg of Hedgesville, and Steve Aberegg of Martinsburg; three daughters and their spouses, Ruth Koontz of Littleton, Rose Mary and Stan Hensley of Lodi, Calif., and Cynthia Mackinnon of Cincinnati; two brothers and their spouses, Carroll and Judy Cumberledge of Hundred, and Dale and Norma Jean Cumberledge of Paden City; seven grandchildren and their spouses, Mike and Allison Koontz, Donna and Dave Schramn, Dave and Andrea Aberegg, Nick Aberegg, Katie Aberegg, Andrew and Mary Mackinnon, and Hannah Aberegg; and four great-grandchildren, Ethan Koontz, Brady Koontz, Jourdan Schramn and Nathan Schramn.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Neil W. Aberegg, who died Sept. 29, 2010; and two brothers, Glenn Cumberledge and Clyde Cumberledge.

Friends may call at Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1 p.m. Thursday with Evangelist Steve Stevens officiating. Interment will follow in Rice Ridge Cemetery, Marshall County.
