Ryan Gross

Ryan Matthew Gross, 19, of Fairmont, passed suddenly from this life Wednesday (Nov. 13, 2013) at Ruby Memorial Hospital as the result of an automobile accident.

He was born in Fairmont, on March 25, 1994, a son of Billie Jo Gross of Fairmont and David Leroy Littleton of Fairmont.

Ryan was a Christian by faith. He graduated from Fairmont Senior High School, class of 2012. He was working as a laborer for the Garrett Mine Service.

He enjoyed going to concerts, and was an avid Davisson Brothers Band fan. He also enjoyed playing his guitar, camping at Big Bear Lake, hunting, fishing, watching West Virginia University football and playing Xbox.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandparents, Helen and Loren Jackson of Fairmont; and several aunts and uncles, including a special uncle, Rob Gross of Fairmont.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ethel and Elijah Littleton.

Friends may call at the Frey Home For Funerals (Addition Chapel A), 320 Madison St., Fairmont, today from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until noon. Services will be held in the funeral home Saturday at noon. Interment will follow at the Grove Cemetery.

  • Nuke-arms grade stock has been cut by Iran

    Iran has converted three quarters of a nuclear stockpile that it could have turned quickly into weapons-grade uranium into less volatile forms and is well on the way toward transforming the rest, the U.N. atomic agency reported Thursday.
    The development — agreed to by Iran under a nuclear deal it struck late last year with six world powers — leaves Tehran with substantially less of the 20-percent enriched uranium that it would need for a nuclear warhead.
