Elizabeth Louise Miller, 92, of Fairmont, passed away Friday (July 19, 2013) at Fairmont General Hospital.
She was born on Nov. 26, 1920, the daughter of the late Jess and Pearl Bush Jarrett. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her husband, Red Miller.
Mrs. Miller was a homemaker as well as a member of the Pythian Sisters Hope Temple in Watson. She loved watching all kinds of sports and was a big fan of Jeff Gordon. She greatly enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Mrs. Miller is survived by a son, Mike Satterfield and his wife Mickey of Monongah; a daughter, Sally Rutherford and her husband Jack of White Hall; eight grandchildren, Clay Satterfield and his wife Vickie of Seattle, Wash., Megan Bradley and her husband Antonio of Fairmont, Cami Handlan and her husband Jody of White Hall, John McDougal of Monongah, Amy Summers and her companion Jim Arnett of Powell, Ohio, Lory Strong and her husband Jon of Pinkerington, Ohio, Bryan Rutherford and his wife Angie of Fountain and Jeff Rutherford and his companion Tricia Chisler of Barrackville; 17 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Donna and a special nephew, Rodney; and several special neighbors, including Shawn, Anita, Ryan and Roger.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Miller is preceded in death by her husband, Red Miller and her brother, Roy Jarrett.
The Miller family would like to thank the staff of the Intensive Care Unit at Fairmont General Hospital for the care they provided.
The family will receive friends at the Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia St., Fairmont, from 2-4 p.m. and from 6-8 p.m. Sunday and from 10-11 a.m. Monday The funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Monday with the Rev.
