Charles Greathouse Jr.

Charles Edward Greathouse Jr. was born May 16, 1976, in Glendale. Chuck was unexpectedly taken to be with the Lord on Jan. 31, 2014.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kelly Ann Greathouse, of 22 years; his two wonderful children, daughter Abigail Nicole Greathouse and son Charles Edward Greathouse III. He is remembered by family friends with love, Abigail’s boyfriend Daemien Mendez and family friend Tony Foster. Also our close friend Josh McBee was Chuck’s lifelong best friend, better known as brothers to each other. He is also survived by his mother, Becky; stepfather, John; his sister, Sharon Kay and fiance Brad Wood; his nephew, Trevor Ray; two aunts; two uncles; and several cousins. He also had four stepbrothers and one stepsister and one set of step-grandparents, John and Patsy.

From his wife’s side of the family, which he considers his family, he is also survived by his mother and father, Joan and Thomas Patterson II; his brother, Josh Patterson and wife Georgianna; his nephew, Tommy; niece, Elizabeth; one grandma, Bettie Price; one grandfather, Thomas Patterson Sr. and his wife; four aunts; four uncles; and several cousins.

He was proceeded in death by his father, Charles Edward Greathouse Sr.; one grandma Clara Warner and one grandpa Guy Warner. On his wife’s side of the family, he was proceeded in death by one grandpa, Donald Price; and his nephew, Riley Patterson.

He was such a wonderful husband, father and son. His life was taken away too soon, but he will always live on through his wife and children.

His memorial services will be held at Pflugerville Community Church in Pflugerville, Texas, at 11 a.m. Saturday.
