Barry Glover, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, colleague and friend, died Saturday (March 30, 2013) in Land-O-Lakes, Fla., of natural causes.
Barry was born Aug. 15, 1947, in Fairmont. Barry was a U.S. Army veteran; retired captain, Clearwater Police Department; formerly instructed at USF; and later longtime professor of criminal justice at St. Leo University.
Barry innovated many programs to advance the study of criminal justice. He cared passionately for his family, students and the university community.
A viewing will be held from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at Trinity Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 12609 Memorial Drive, Trinity, FL 34655. A funeral and burial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
