Sandra Sue Donley, 66, of Quiet Dell Community, Fairmont, died Friday (May 10, 2013) at her residence.
She was born April 20, 1947, in Clarksburg, a daughter of the late Thomas Harrison Harbert and Stella Irene Davis Harbert.
She is survived by her husband, David Porter Donley of Quiet Dell Community.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Mark Allen and Beth Donley of Lakeland, Tenn.; a daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Todd Edmond of Weirton; three grandchildren, Scott Edmond, Matthew Donley and Hannah Donley; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Judy Collins of Bridgeport, and Gloria and Mike Ribas of Parkersburg; several nieces and nephews; and two very close friends, Carol Croteau of Bluffton, S.C., and Kim Ashcraft of Orlando, Fla.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Ashcraft.
Mrs. Donley was a homemaker and graduate of Shinnston High School. She was a member of a local quilters guild and was an excellent seamstress. Sandra enjoyed baking, cooking and crafts. She loved to be with friends, family and her grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the staff and nurses at Monongalia General Hospital, Dr. McBee and Amedysis Hospice for loving care and support.

The family will receive friends at Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia St., Fairmont, for a gathering to celebrate Sandra’s life from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday only. A private committal service will be held for the family at a later time.
