William E. Talkington, 82, of Fairmont, passed away Friday (June 21, 2013) at the Heritage Nursing Home in Bridgeport.
He was born May 29, 1931, in Fairmont, a son of the late Harold and Geneva Martin Talkington.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Millie Talkington.
Mr. Talkington was a Baptist by faith. He was a veteran with the U.S. Army. He worked for Kettering Bakery in Fairmont for many years.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Millie Talkington; son, Michael and Tori Talkington of Fairmont; stepchildren, Lee and Patty Cutrone of Austin, Texas, and Linda Knotts of White Hall; grandchildren, Mikie and Allie Talkington of Fairmont, Lisa and David Simpson of Jupiter, Fla., Gregory Knotts of Fairmont, Christopher and Suzanna Cutrone of Austin, Texas, and Cameron and Lauren Cutrone of San Marcus, Texas; and three great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to the Marion County Humane Society, P.O. Box 905, Fairmont, WV 26554.
Mr. Talkington requested to be donated to the West Virginia Human Gift Registry. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
