Roger Mullenax

Roger Jacob Mullenax, 65, of Fairmont, died Tuesday (May 6, 2014) at his residence.

He was born Aug. 4, 1948. in Farmington, a son of the late Charles J. and Helen Marchiney Mullenax.

Roger was an electrician who loved his work. He was co-owner of Elk Electric in Morgantown. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles No. 2373 in Fairmont, and a member of the VFW.

Survivors include his children, Stephanie Mullenax, Briana Mullenax and Charles Ryan Mullenax, all of Nashville, Tennessee; three grandchildren, Abigail and Currin Williams and Cameron Mullenax; and two sisters, Donna Kuhn of Farmington and Janice Whinnie and husband John of Farmington.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Mullenax; a sister, Susan Harr; and a grandson, Jacob Williams.

Friends may call at the Hutson Funeral Home in Farmington today from 4-8 p.m., where funeral services will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. with Pastor Chad Hutson officiating. Interment will be in the West Virginia National Cemetery in Pruntytown with Marion County Veterans Council conducting military graveside honors.
