Nancy M. Hoyle Veitch, 84, of Greensburg, Pa., passed away Saturday (Feb. 23, 2013) at her home.
She was born Jan. 24, 1929, in Greensburg and was the daughter of the late Harold and Grace Repp Hoyle.
Nancy was a member of First Reformed United Church of Christ in Greensburg. She enjoyed her bridge playing, reading, crossword puzzles and traveling with her late husband to visit family and the beach.
She was preceded in death in addition to her parents by her husband, John A. “Jack” Veitch; son, John J. “Jack” Veitch; daughter, Karen L. Veitch; and a brother, William W. Hoyle.
Nancy is survived by her two daughters, Deborah L. Veitch and Judith A. Weimer, both of Greensburg; grandchildren, Ashley Weimer of New York City, N.Y., Matthew and Michael Weimer of Greensburg; great-grandchildren, Alec and Alaina; her sister, JoAnn Arena; two brothers, Don and wife Kay Hoyle and Roy Hoyle; special niece and caregiver, Lisa Byerly; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received from 2-4 p.m. and from 6-8 p.m. today at Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 N. Main St., Greensburg. Services will be held in the funeral home at 11 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Steven Craft officiating. Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park.
