— Joyce Claire Hawkins Julian, 75, of Pensacola, Fla., passed away Dec. 28, 2012, in Pensacola, Fla. She was born Nov. 26, 1937, in Fairmont, daughter of the late Jack Hawkins and Iris Burline Flowers.

Joyce was a retired Registered Nurse from West Florida Hospital. She was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church and volunteered for many years at St. Vincent De Paul’s Thrift Store in Pensacola, Fla. Joyce also liked to spend time walking on the beach, reading, cooking for the holidays, and visiting with family and friends.

Joyce will be dearly missed by her surviving children, John Julian Jr. and wife Vicky of Pensacola, Fla., James Julian of San Francisco, Calif., Mary Julian of Knoxville, Tenn., and Samuel Julian and wife Stacy Keltner of Atlanta, Ga.; and grandchildren, Jessica, Juna, Vincent, Brando and Arinna. She will be lovingly remembered by her sisters-in-law, Sharon Julian and Sharon Hawkins; brother-in-law, David Julian; and nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Joseph Julian Sr.; her brother, Don Hawkins; her brother-in-law, William Julian; and sister-in-law, Joyce Julian.

The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Ave. in Fairmont, from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Saturday. A Graveside Service will follow at noon at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Condolences may be sent online to the family at www.domicofh.com.
