He is survived by his wife, Carlene of 61 years; sons, Ted and wife Bonnie, Tim and wife Gwen, Tiff and wife Judy and Terry and wife Colleen; grandchildren, Ted Jr., Megan S. Wiley, Matthew, Michaela and Jonathan Shuttlesworth, Jessica S. Gesualdi, Chelsea, Brooke, Preston and Grayson Shuttlesworth; great-grandchildren, Madelyn, Kaylen, Joel and Camila; also surviving, several nieces and nephews.

The family thanks everyone who was involved in the care of Allen, especially the kindness and help of Amedisys-Hospice.

  • Nuke-arms grade stock has been cut by Iran

Iran has converted three quarters of a nuclear stockpile that it could have turned quickly into weapons-grade uranium into less volatile forms and is well on the way toward transforming the rest, the U.N. atomic agency reported Thursday.
The development — agreed to by Iran under a nuclear deal it struck late last year with six world powers — leaves Tehran with substantially less of the 20-percent enriched uranium that it would need for a nuclear warhead.
