Owen was a wonderful and loving husband and father.

He is survived by two sons, Dennis Lee Shaffer of Fairmont and Douglas Lynn Shaffer of Fairmont; his grandchildren, Jared Owen and Amanda Shaffer of Fairmont and Jaimee Lynn Shaffer of Fairmont; and one great-grandson, Austin Uriah Shaffer.
