John E. Lloyd, 45, of Franklinville, N.J., passed away Tuesday (May 7, 2013).
Born in Fairmont, John was the son of the late Joseph Fred and Carolyn Waddell Lloyd.
He received his bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering and his master’s in business administration through West Virginia University. Since 2003, John had worked at both Wheaton in Millville and Phoenix Glass in Pittsgrove, mainly in marketing, sales and IT management. Prior to that, he had worked for many years at Comar Inc. in Buena.
John was a member of Elmer United Methodist Church where he was very much involved in the church’s Drama Ministry. He loved spending time with his son, watching movies, eating, making people laugh, listening to music and playing cards.
John was a member of the Woodstown Moose Lodge No. 932. He proudly served as the den leader for Pack 258 in Pittsgrove, and was a huge animal lover. He loved cats and dogs, especially his beagle, Puddles.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Jennifer (Sutton), and his young son, Maxwell. Also surviving are his sister, Stephanie Lloyd; nephew, Joseph; grandmother, Jean Lloyd, all of West Virginia; as well as many other family members and friends.
Services will be held at Elmer United Methodist Church, 21 Church St., Elmer, NJ 08318. There will be a viewing held from 6-8 p.m. Monday and again from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday. Services will follow the Tuesday visitation at 11 a.m., with interment taking place at Chestnut Grove Cemetery.
