Joseph Sestito, 95, of Fairmont, died on Wednesday (July 17, 2013) at Fairmont General Hospital.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Pearl Wildman Sestito, on April 6, 2010.
Joe was an extraordinary father and is survived by his cherished son, Frank Dennis Sestito; and daughter, Penelope Surgent, of Clifton, N.J.
He was a devoted grandfather and precious to one granddaughter, Teresa; six grandsons, Justin, Evan and Trevor of Fairmont, and John J. Thomas and Michael of Florida, Dallas and New Jersey; an inspirational and honored great-grandfather of Amanda, Marc, Lauren, Riley Joan and Madison.
He also has many nieces and nephews in Morgantown and Fairmont.
Joe owned the Parkette, which became Tiffany’s, serving this community for 48-plus years.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Peter the Fisherman Church in Fairmont are appreciated.
A memorial Mass will be held 10 a.m. Monday, at St. Peter the Fisherman Church in Fairmont.
