William “Bill” George Weaver Jr., 54, of Fairmont, went to his heavenly home on Thursday (Oct. 3, 2013) at his residence surrounded by his loving family with his wife at his side.
He was born on Nov. 12, 1958, in Clarksburg, to the late William G. Weaver Sr. and his mother, Darlene Dawson Koontz and Terry, who survives in Bridgeport. William is also survived by his loving wife, Jennie Weaver, whom he married on Nov. 3, 1993.
He is also survived by his children, Josh Weaver and his wife Mandy of Fairmont, Frankie Oliverio and fiancé Jamie Vaughan of Clarksburg, and Jamie Jo of Fairmont; his five grandchildren, Justin Slaughter, Jordyn Weaver, Brittney Weaver, Ryliegh Vaughan and Kaydance Wolf; his three brothers, Rodney Weaver and his wife Cindy of Weston, Brad Weaver and his wife Betty of Barrackville, and Chad Weaver and his wife Andrea of Clarksburg; his sister, Patricia Hoffman and her husband Greg of Georgia; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, William was preceded in death by his daughter, Mindy Weaver.
He worked for MEC Construction Co. since the mid ’80s and for the last 36 years he was a heavy equipment operator specializing in crane operation. William was an avid fisherman and enjoyed boxing. He will be sadly missed by his many, many friends and co-workers.
Friends will be received from 1 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Harmer Funeral Home, Shinnston. A funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. Sunday, with Pastor Jamie Rieser officiating.
