Rosemary Grimm

Rosemary Grimm, 82, of Fairmont, died Thursday (Aug. 15, 2013) in the Fairmont General Hospital.

She was born July 2, 1931, in Fairmont, the daughter of the late Floyd Linn and Della Virginia Linn.

She is survived by a daughter, Doris Jean Morgan of Fairmont; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert Lee and Debbie Grimm of Charlotte, N.C.; a grandson, Christopher Grimm; and a great-grandson, Jackson Alexander Grimm.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Grimm and an infant brother Kenneth Linn; as well as a son-in-law, Clyde Edward Morgan.

Rosemary was a 1994 retired employee from the dietary department at Fairmont General Hospital. She attended the Central Church of The Nazarene in Fairmont and was a 1949 graduate of East Fairmont High School.

The family will receive friends at the Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia St., Fairmont, from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 11 a.m. Monday with Pastor Doug Hendrixson officiating. The committal service will follow in the Glady Creek Cemetery, Marion County.

  • Nuke-arms grade stock has been cut by Iran

    Iran has converted three quarters of a nuclear stockpile that it could have turned quickly into weapons-grade uranium into less volatile forms and is well on the way toward transforming the rest, the U.N. atomic agency reported Thursday.
    The development — agreed to by Iran under a nuclear deal it struck late last year with six world powers — leaves Tehran with substantially less of the 20-percent enriched uranium that it would need for a nuclear warhead.
