Rudolph “Rudy” Paul Cameon, 80, of Carolina, passed away Friday (March 15, 2013) at the West Virginia Veteran’s Nursing Facility in Clarksburg.
He was born Oct. 24, 1932, in Carolina, son of the late Clyde and Maggie Cameon.
Rudy honorably served in both the Navy and Army during the Korean War.
He is survived by his three sons, Christopher, Craig and Michael of San Diego, Calif; brothers, Bill Cameon of Indiana, Peter Cameon of Clarksburg, and Albert Cameon of Mannington; sisters, Nathaleen Oliverio of Indiana, Linda Cameon of Carolina, and Virginia Mezzanotte and husband Pat of Fairmont; and three grandchildren, Courtney, Maddalena and Amber.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Arthur and Joe Cameon.
Cremation has been chosen as his final disposition. Friends and family may call at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Ave., in Fairmont, from 3-5 p.m. Saturday. The memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Matt Holbert officiating.
