Donna Jean (Osborne) Winter Delligatti, 74, of Fairmont, passed away peacefully Tuesday (March 4, 2014) at her home after a valiant fight against pancreatic cancer, surrounded by her loving family and four dogs that loved “Grams” dearly.
She was born in Colfax on Feb. 25, 1940, a daughter of the late Donley and Clarice (Slaughter) Osborne.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Delligatti.
Donna was a loving homemaker, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was retired from Thorofare Market and Meijer Corp. She was a graduate of East Fairmont High School. She had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed bowling, reading and watching old movies.
She is survived by two sons, Bruce Winter and his wife Cathy of Saco, Maine, and Craig Winter and his wife Lori of Brunswick, Maine; one daughter, Wendy Cutlip of Fairmont; three grandchildren, CJ Moore and her husband Michael, Carly Fisher and her husband Michael, all of Fairmont, and Adam Taylor of Colorado; and two great-grandchildren, Garrett Droppleman and Halle Moore.
Also surviving are three stepsons, Jimmy Delligatti and his wife Crystal of Fairmont, Jerry Delligatti of Fairmont and Billy Delligatti of Massachusetts; and a cousin who was like a brother to her, John Carr of Fairmont.
Family and friends may call at Carpenter and Ford Funeral Home, 209 Merchant St., Fairmont, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 1 p.m. Saturday. Private family interment services will follow.
