Helen Angelilli

Helen Olga Yearsovich Angelilli, 86, of Fairmont, passed away Saturday (March 29, 2014) at Fairmont General Hospital.

Helen was born Dec. 24, 1927, in Farmington, daughter of the late Daniel and Elizabeth Novick Yearsovich. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

She attended Farmington High School and graduated in 1947. She was a former employee of C&P Telephone Co., where she was employed as a switchboard operator. She was a devoted member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, Joan of Arc #341. She enjoyed her summers with family and friends at her camp in Bentons Ferry. She loved to go to garage sales and flea markets.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, who died May 24, 2004; four brothers, John, Alex, Paul and Henry Yearsovich; and a sister, Mary Rigger.

Survivors include two sons, Dana Angelilli of Fairmont and Robert Angelilli of Strasburg, Va.; two granddaughters, Ashley M. Angelilli and Diana C. Angelilli; a great-grandson, Halen Angelilli; three nieces, Elizabeth Rigger, Patty Arnold and Judy Angelilli; and two nephews, Frank Rigger and Albert (Buster) Angelilli III.

Family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Ave., Tuesday, from 1-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Walter Jagela as celebrant. Burial will follow at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery. There will be a vigil service in the funeral home Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. with Sister Stella officiating.
