Martha Consuello (Summers) Phillips, lovingly known as “Connie” or “Aunt Cot,” 85, of Morgantown, formerly of Fairmont, went to be with her Lord on Sunday (Nov. 10, 2013), surrounded by her loving family at the home of her daughter in Greenville, S.C.
She was born in Catawba on April 3, 1928, as the eighth of nine children to the late William Lindsay Summers and Florence (Swisher) Summers.
Connie was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, John Paul Phillips, in July 1995.

Also surviving is a brother, Darwin “Dot” Summers of Fairmont, and many loving extended family members and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Walter Summers, Wayne Summers, Daryl Summers, Harrison “Bud” Summers and William “Bill” Summers; her sister, Florence Emogene Tucker; and a sister-in-law, Phyllis Summers.
