Randall Mullan

Randall Ray Mullan passed away of unknown causes between June and July 2012. He had been missing and his body was found in Pennsylvania in December 2012.

Randall (Randy) was born and raised in the Flemington area all his life. He was born on July 17, 1958, and was the son of the late Dorothy Belle Boggess Mullan and Blair E. Mullan of Flemington.

Randy attended Flemington High School and loved people. He was quite the talker, and he really liked talking to anyone who would listen to him about the Lord. Randy’s Bible was with him when he was found.

Randy liked to travel and spent most of the life working on farms around the country. It wasn’t anything for him to say, “I’m going to Florida,” or somewhere else, and he would hitchhike there. Randy would come home as often as he could to see our mother, who was in a local nursing home before passing away in 2012. Randy made friends easily, and he had been living in Salem, Ohio, over the last several years with his friend Terri.

He is survived by his brothers, Roy Mullan and wife Joyce of Mooreland, Okla., and Warren Mullan and friend Esta Boggess of Wendell; and sisters, Barbara Lamach and husband Charles of Teays Valley, Monica McNemar and husband Butch of Grafton, Shelia Tennant and husband Gary of Fairmont, Jessie Jenkins of Salem, Ohio, Joyce Clark of Elkton, Va., and Leslie Moats of Elkton, Va. Randy also has many, many nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, Randy was preceded in death by two brothers, Stanley K. (Pete) Mullan and wife Barbara McNemar Mullan, and Clifford B. Mullan, both of Elkton, Va.; and Donna L. Mullan Helmick of Rosemont.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date with the Rev. Jacqueline Campbell from the Church of the Covenant in Grafton officiating.
