Helen Mary Bright

Helen Mary Bright, 86, of Monongah, passed away Tuesday (July 10, 2012).

She was born Jan. 20, 1926, in Monongah, daughter of the late Andrew and Sarah Pawlaski.

Mrs. Bright was a 1943 graduate of Monongah High School. After high school, she obtained an associate degree from West Virginia Business College. She married Warren Bright on June 15, 1947, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Monongah.

Mrs. Bright was Catholic by faith, and a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Helen was a warm, kind soul in the community, and she served as a volunteer for her children’s school functions, as well as church dinners and bake sales. She was an avid gardener with a great love for cooking.

She is survived by a daughter, Sarah A. Yanero; granddaughters, Sarah Beth (Brian) Delloma and Barbara Anne Yanero; great-grandsons, Noah James Yanero and Ethan Chase Delloma; sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Henry Suszek; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Warren James Bright Sr.; two sons, David Lee Bright and Warren James Bright Jr.; a brother, Edward Pawlaski; and sisters-in-law, Katherine Pawlaski and Ruth Ann Johnson.

The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Ave. in Fairmont, from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday with a Vigil Service being held at 8:30 p.m. Sunday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10 a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Monongah. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Sam was born on Nov. 13, 1920, in Fairmont, the son of the late Vincent and Maria (Galiano) Pellerite. He was the loving husband of the late Teresa Mae “Terry” (Cirillo) Pellerite.
