The Stockert Youth Center seeks an energetic, creative, outgoing self-starter to serve as its Executive Director. The Executive Director serves as the primary fundraiser, public relations officer and grant writer for the Center. In addition, this individual works closely with the SYC Board of Directors and city officials to insure that the Center provides quality programs for youth while demonstrating fiscal responsibility. The Executive Director supervises two full-time staff members, including the program director and volunteer coordinator. The Stockert Youth Center sponsors indoor and outdoor recreation, athletic, arts and educational programs for all children residing in Upshur County and is owned and operated by the City of Buckhannon. Qualifications: Preference will be given to those individuals with experience in fundraising and grant writing, with a demonstrated interest in children’s programs and activities. Managerial and supervisory experience is also important. Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred. Salary is commensurate with experience, with a base salary of $35,000 annually. Immediate Openings. TECHNICIAN IV/Clinical Engineering. The
responsibilities of this position are to inspect and maintain hospital
equipment and equipment systems to ensure safety, quality performance and
cost savings. Required qualifications: High school diploma; 2 or 4 year
Electronics degree, must be able to work under conditions of stress caused
by the nature of the mission, which usually involves the life and
well-being of the patients and the necessity to meet deadlines which are
out of his/her control. Technical, academic and mental demands are high.
The work performed is a precise nature requiring long periods of
concentration. One year experience in troubleshooting electronics,
personal computers, and networks, printers, TVs, fax machines and general
electronics is preferred. The successful candidate must be able to
demonstrate competent skill levels for repair and maintenance of complex
