During the Huskies versus Polar Bear softball showdown ... it was far from a showdown.
North was playing its A-game, winning by a mere four touchdowns; however, they did miss an extra point.
Yes, North scored 27 runs, while shutting out the Polar Bears by way of mercy rule in three innings, 27-0.
Playing in these types of rivalry games allows the Huskies to prove that they are “for real.”
“I like playing against our rivals like East and West because it makes me do better. I know I have to good so I can prove a point to people,” North Marion’s standout first baseman Amanda Sigley said following her two hit and five RBI performance.
