Being labeled the best isn’t something new for Bridgeport’s Ms. Everything — Miki Glenn.
In her senior season with the Indians, she was Bridgeport’s heart and soul. At times, she was the team. Her efforts were second to none, which in return brought her and her team the first girls’ state title in the history of the program.
“What Miki did to galvanize this team as a leader this year is beyond description,” said Bridgeport’s head coach Dave Marshall. “I’ve come across a lot of words in the 20-some years I’ve been coaching, but she’s given me some new words and some new thoughts that I haven’t been able to think about before.”
