FAIRMONT — East Fairmont High School’s Jasmin Johnson had a weekend to remember at the Gene Baker Tournament held in Hedgesville over the weekend.

During the tournament, Johnson drilled a home run while hitting .615. She went 8-13 in the five games she played.

Her offensive explosion helped the Bees tally a second-place performance behind Hedgesville.

For her efforts, Johnson is the latest Times West Virginian Multi-Media Good Sports Player of the Week.

The Bees will be back in action at home against Buckhannon today beginning at 5 p.m.
