Woodman, FSU kick off season against Seton Hill

FAIRMONT — Fairmont State University’s football team made it look pretty easy Wednesday evening, marching up and down the field scoring touchdowns and making defensive stops at will.

That may be because Wednesday was just a walk-through in T-shirts and shorts for the Falcons, and the opponent was nothing more than the thin air in front of them.

Still, Fairmont State is hoping for a similar result tonight when it opens the season against Seton Hill at 7 p.m. at Duvall-Rosier Field.

It will be a fresh start for the Falcons on a number of levels.
