Click, clack — you hear that coming?
Well, it’s the cleats of North Marion’s girls’ track team which compiled a second-place finish in Friday’s Big 10 Championship race.
The Huskies took second behind Buckhannon, which scored a 151, while North tallied 90 points. Fairmont Senior tallied a sixth spot at 38.
“We’re looking forward to everything, and it’s been improving,” North’s Keri Bland said. “We’ve been hitting our times during the past few meets, so hopefully, if they continue on the pattern that we’ve been seeing will be set for states. We are predicted fifth overall in states right now as the girls’ team.”
