PLEASANT VALLEY —
At 5 a.m. Nick Fantasia’s phone rang.
“Are you up? I had this dream,” Fantasia remembers Tom Feorene Jr. saying on the other end of the phone.
The two are close friends and members of the Muscle Car Mafia, an informal group of collectible car afficianados.
A couple weeks earlier, the Kiwanis Club had approached the Muscle Car Mafia and asked the group to help them raise money for the Boys and Girls Club.
The Muscle Car Mafia organized a car cruise, but then, in the middle of the night, Feorene had his dream.
“I had this dream. We should have an Eldora Raceway reunion,” Feorene told Fantasia over the phone.
“I said, ‘Go back to sleep,’” Fantasia joked.
